Meet Myrtha (pronouns: she/they), a first-generation professional who recognizes the significance of self-advocacy and self-agency for achieving success. Growing up in an immigrant family, Myrtha deeply understands how individuals from under-resourced communities can navigate systems to flourish in their education and careers. She has a strong background in immigration advocacy, college access, and student affairs. Myrtha also believes in using metrics to comprehend the needs and accomplishments of underrepresented students. As a data practitioner, she supports managers and directors with data collection strategies and insights. She is also a professional career coach, helping underrepresented communities with job searches and graduate school applications. Myrtha holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from UC Berkeley and a Master's in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her leisure time, Myrtha enjoys playing basketball and nurturing her plants.
