Meet Myrna, an LA-raised Mexican immigrant, with over sixteen years of experience working directly with marginalized communities of color, immigrant youth, and families in California, implementing youth enrichment, civic engagement, and community development strategies. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from UC Berkeley after attending two UC campuses and four community colleges. For five years. Myrna was a community organizer, leading statewide advocacy campaigns with immigrant students and their families. She has partnered with clients to address community development challenges in housing, transportation, climate change, and equity. Myrna also contributes to initiatives that promote racial equity in higher education. In her leisure time, Myrna enjoys waterfront walks and trying new food.
